HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air and true HEPA filters are recognised worldwide as the ultimate filter used in environments which rely on high standards of clean air. HEPA filters are pleated mechanical air filters which can remove at least 99.999% of dust, pollen, mould, bacteria and any airborne particles with a size less than 0.3 microns.
